The publication provides the data on the number of R&D organizations and personnel, intramural R&D expenditures, results of innovative activities of enterprises in the country.

The data are presented in a breakdown by regions, by kinds of economic activity and ownership types.

Selected statistical indicators are furnished with methodological notes; diagrams and charts are provided.

The statistical book is published in Russian and English.
