The statistical book "Services in the Republic of Belarus" is published for the first time and contains the information on the state of services in the country, regions (Minsk City).

The statistical book provides time series of data on the major macroeconomic indicators of service sector: output and value added, structure of gross value added. The data on the number of service sector organizations, volume of services provided, number of employees and average amount of wages and salaries, financial state and investment activities of organizations are published in a breakdown by kinds of economic activity.

The statistical book also presents the data on activities of organizations that provide selected types of services.

Major statistical indicators are provided with methodological notes. Selected indicators are illustrated with diagrams and charts.

The statistical book is published in Russian and English.
