The statistical book provides the information on the socio-economic development of Belarus as compared with other CIS countries.

The data on demographic situation, employment and unemployment, living standards, development of education and health care are published. The information characterizing the production of industrial and agricultural product, commissioning of dwellings, development of transport and communication is also published. The statistical book contains the data on GDP, finances, prices, and main indicators of domestic and foreign trade.

The information and publications of the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonweals of Independent States are used as data source for CIS countries.
