Agriculture in the Republic of Belarus (270 pages)

The statistical book presents time series describing the situation in the agricultural sector of the country and its material and technical base. Published are data on the sawn areas of major agricultural crops, gross harvest and yield capacity, number of basic livestock and poultry, and animal husbandry output. The book provides information on the investments in fixed capital and housing construction in rural localities, financial performance of agricultural organisations, as well as data on the number of the employed in agriculture and their wages. The data are given for the whole country, by regions and districts as well as by categories of farms. Selected statistical indicators are provided with methodological notes.
