The yearbook prepared by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus contains statistical information on regions, districts and selected towns of the country for a time period from 1995 to 2008.

The data on main socio-economic indicators are provided in a regional breakdown. The information on the share of selected regions in socio-economic indicators at the national level is also given.

Statistical information on demographic situation, on labour resources and employment, on living standards and social indicators, on education and culture, on science and innovation, on situation in selected branches of the economy such as industry, agriculture, construction, transport and communications, the data on financial activities of the organizations, retail trade and paid services to population is provided for each region and Minsk City. Statistical data on main indicators of foreign trade and performance of small enterprises are also published.
