*  The list of sectors corresponds to the classifier of sectors of the national economy in effect at present in the Republic of Belarus.

According   to the methodology of GDP calculation  at constant prices 2000 basic year was replaced with 2005.


1)  Index of industrial production is calculated based on the output dynamics of representative goods (in physical or value terms).

Economically active population data   for 2007 and 2008 were recalculated according   to the new methodology.

3)  General government operations include: the republican budget (budgetary accounts), the Fund of Social Protection of the Population, local budgets.

4)  Central government operations include: the republican budget (budgetary accounts) and the Fund of Social Protection of the Population.

5) Since September 2008, the number of the employed includes imprisoned convicts and persons in medical-labour rehabilitation centres that were engaged in paid work in production and maintenance services. In rate computing, data are given in comparable methodology for the calculation of the number of employed population.
