Agricultural production in January 2021

In January 2021 the agricultural production in farms of all types (agricultural organisations, private farms and household plots) at current prices was BYN 1067.5 million, or 100.2% of the level of January 2020 at constant prices.

The production of livestock and poultry (in live weight) in farms of all types was recorded at 150.4 thous. tonnes, the milk production was at 635 thous. tonnes, the production of eggs was at 285.3 million units.

The share of agricultural organisations was 95.6% of the production of livestock and poultry (in live weight), 98.2% of the milk production and more than 93% of the eggs production.

As at 1^st February 2021 the cattle population in agricultural organisations numbered 4.2 million heads, the number of cows being 1.4 million heads. The number of pigs totaled 2.6 million heads.
