Industrial production in January – September 2020

In January – September 2020 the volume of industrial production in current prices was recorded at BYN 83.1 billion or 98.2% in constant prices compared with January – September 2019, with 98.2% in Mining and quarrying; 98.4% in Manufacturing; 96.1% in Electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply; and 100.3% in Water supply; waste management and remediation activities.

The index of industrial production was 101.4% for September 2020 to September 2019 and 101% for September 2020 to August 2020.

The volume of industrial production in constant prices has increased over January – September of the previous year by 16.1% in Manufacture products of wood and paper; by 11.6% – in printing of basic pharmaceuticals and medicinal products, by 3.8% – in food products, including beverages, and tobacco, by 1.1% – in transport vehicles and equipment.
