The feat of the people is immortal. The memory is sacred

On the eve of the 76th anniversary of Victory Day, senior management of Belstat laid flowers and paid tribute to the victims of fascism at the Blagovshchina site of the Trostenets memorial complex.

In 1941-1943, the Nazis carried out mass exterminations of Belarusian citizens, members of the antifascist resistance and partisan movement, Soviet prisoners of war, Minsk ghetto prisoners and Jewish population deported from Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and other European countries in the Blagovshchina site. The remains of 150 thousand people are buried in 34 grave-trenches.
