Workshop on International Comparison Programme in CIS countries was held on 23-24 August 2010

The Workshop on International Comparison Programme (ICP) of the 2011 round in CIS countries took place on 23-24 August 2010inMinsk within the framework of the global round of the UN International Comparison Programme.

Representatives of the CIS Statistical Committee, the World Bank and specialists on international comparisons from the CIS countries took part in the workshop.

The workshop set the start of the preparation for the next round of the global international GDP comparison for 2011. The main topics of the workshop were the issues of methodology and organization of the 2011 international GDP comparison. Participants shared their experience of participation in the 2005 ICP round and discussed major problems which need to be solved and organization of work for the 2011 ICP round.
