In January-July 2026 the agricultural production in farms of all types (agricultural organisations, private farms and household plots) at current prices was BYN 18.8 billion, an increase of 12.9% at constant prices compared with January-July 2025. The agricultural production in agricultural organisations was BYN 18.2 billion, an increase of 13% at constant prices compared with the same period of the previous year.
The share of agricultural organisations was 97.8% of the production of livestock and poultry (in live weight), 98.1% of the milk production, 87.3% of the production of eggs.
The production of livestock and poultry (in live weight) in agricultural organisations was recorded at 1083 thous. tonnes, an increase of 5.4% compared with January-July 2025. The milk production was at 5430.8 thous. tonnes (+2.9%), the production of eggs was at 2014.2 million units (+1%).
As at 1st August 2026 the cattle population in agricultural organisations numbered 3.8 million heads, the number of cows being 1.3 million heads. The number of pigs totaled 2.1 million heads, the number of poultry being 50.9 million heads.
As at 1st August 2026 grains and legumes (except maize) were reaped by agricultural organisations from 38.2% of harvest area (as at 1st August 2025 – 22.3%). The grain yield in initially recorded weight was 3 million tonnes, an increase of 55.3% compared with 1st August 2025; the average yield capacity made up 39 centners per hectare of harvested area (as at 1st August 2025 – 43.1 centners).
Rape was reaped from 75.9% of harvest area (as at 1st August 2025 – 45.8%). The rape yield was 1.1 million tonnes, an increase of 2.7 times compared with 1st August 2025; the average yield capacity made up 30.1 centners per hectare (as at 1st August 2025 – 21.8 centners).
Fodder conservation is in progress. As at 1st August 2026, 4.8 million tonnes of fodder (in terms of feed units) were procured in agricultural organisations, an increase of 13.7% compared with 1st August 2025, of which 3.5 million tonnes of grass fodder were procured (+8.7%). Thus, 12.2 centners of feed units of fodder were procured per livestock unit of public livestock (+15.1%), 12.3 centners of grass fodder were procured (+12.8%).
