Abstract:
The book presents statistical data on the main economic indicators of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, on the ICT use by legal entities and households.
The book provides data on the main economic indicators of ICT organizations, such as the number of employees, wages and salaries, fixed capital investment, volume of production, exports and imports of goods and services, and financial indicators. The information on training of ICT specialists is also included.
There are data on the use of ICT by for-profit organizations and residents of the High Technology Park. Selected statistical indicators describe ICT use by households.
The book provides information on the main indicators of ICT use in the Republic of Belarus in comparison with other countries.
Statistical indicators are furnished with brief methodological explanations; charts and diagrams are also presented.
The statistical book is prepared by the Main Department of Services and Demographic Statistics with the envolvement of other units of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus and is intended for a wide range of users.
