In January-March 2026 the agricultural production in farms of all types (agricultural organisations, private farms and household plots) at current prices was BYN 5546.1 million, an increase of 2.6% at constant prices compared with January-March 2025. The agricultural production in agricultural organisations was BYN 5479.2 million, an increase of 2.9% at constant prices compared with the same period of the previous year.
The share of agricultural organisations was 97.5% of the production of livestock and poultry (in live weight), 98.6% of the milk production, 94.3% of the production of eggs.
The production of livestock and poultry (in live weight) in agricultural organisations was recorded at 456.7 thous. tonnes, an increase of 4.2% compared with January-March 2025. The milk production was at 2230 thous. tonnes (+2.3%), the production of eggs was at 863.9 million units (99% of the level of the same period of the previous year).
As at 1st April 2026 the cattle population in agricultural organisations numbered 3.9 million heads, the number of cows being 1.4 million heads. The number of pigs totaled 2 million heads.
