Distribution of exports and imports of services by their modes of supply in 2025 year

In 2025, services exported through cross-border supply (remotely, when the service supplier and customer of the service are located in their territories) accounted for 64.8% of the total volume of services exported in the republic. More than 20% of services were exported during the customer's trip to the Republic of Belarus (through consumption abroad). 13.7% of the total volume of services exported in the republic was provided due to the presence of supplier, when the Belarusian exporter traveled to the customer's territory.
Freight and passenger transport services were fully exported by mode of cross-border supply, travel services and manufacturing services on physical inputs owned by others were used for consumption abroad, and construction services were used for the presence of supplier. Almost all computer, telecommunications and information services (99.6%) were provided to non-residents cross-border, and more than 80% of maintenance and repair services were exported by way of consumption abroad, i.e. in the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
The largest volume of service imports in 2025 was also obtained through cross-border supply (63.1% of the total volume of service imports in the republic). About a quarter of services were imported when the customer of the service traveled abroad, 12.2% - when the service supplier was present, when a foreign service supplier came to the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
All freight and passenger transport services, financial services, licensing services for intellectual property products and operational leasing were imported through cross-border supply. Travel services were received only by mode of consumption abroad, construction services - by mode of presence of supplier. Almost the entire volume of computer, telecommunications and information services (99.2%) was imported cross-border, and the main part of advertising, marketing services, organization of fairs, exhibitions (95.2%) was obtained in the same way.
Services provided via the Internet and other means of telecommunications in 2025 amounted to 706.5 million US dollars or 6% of the total export of services of the Republic of Belarus, received - 718.4 million US dollars (9.5%).
In 2025, the entire volume of export of services related to the licensing services for intellectual property products was carried out via the Internet and other means of telecommunications. In addition, a significant part of architectural engineering and other technical services (91.3%), as well as advertising, marketing services, organization of fairs, exhibitions (71.7%) were exported in electronic form.
In 2025, financial services and licensing services for intellectual property products were imported in full using the Internet and other means of telecommunications, as well as the main share of advertising, marketing services, organization of fairs, exhibitions (94.7%).
