In January-May 2026 the agricultural production in farms of all types (agricultural organisations, private farms and household plots) at current prices was BYN 10.5 billion, an increase of 4.3% at constant prices compared with January-May 2025. The agricultural production in agricultural organisations was BYN 10.3 billion, an increase of 4.6% at constant prices compared with the same period of the previous year.
The share of agricultural organisations was 97.7% of the production of livestock and poultry (in live weight), 98.4% of the milk production, 90.6% of the production of eggs.
The production of livestock and poultry (in live weight) in agricultural organisations was recorded at 769.8 thous. tonnes, an increase of 5.3% compared with January-May 2025. The milk production was at 3818.4 thous. tonnes (+2.7%), the production of eggs was at 1440.3 million units (100.01% of the level of the same period of the previous year).
As at 1st June 2026 the cattle population in agricultural organisations numbered 3.8 million heads, the number of cows being 1.3 million heads. The number of pigs totaled 2 million heads, the number of poultry being 52.7 million heads.
