The statistical book is published in Russian and presents summary energy balances of the Republic of Belarus and balances of certain types of fuels and energy for a number of years.
The publication presents the information on the main sources of formation and uses of certain types of fuel and energy resources, on the environmental impact of fuel consumption.
The statistical book contains selected indicators of the national list of Sustainable Development Goals indicators.
Data are presented for the country as a whole; some indicators are given by regions and Minsk city and by economic activity. The list of economic activities complies with the national classification of the Republic of Belarus ОКRB 005-2011 «Types of economic Activities» (OKED).
The source of information is the official statistical information produced by state statistics bodies based on the results of state statistical surveys as well as administrative data of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus.
Data are given in dynamics for 2015 – 2020. In certain cases data for 2020 are preliminary and will be revised in subsequent issues.
Relative indicators are calculated using absolute figures with a smaller unit of measure than those presented in the tables.
In certain cases insignificant discrepancy between the total and the sum of its components is explained by data rounding.
