The II International Statistical Forum of the CIS: new technologies and data sources in statistics is being held on 2-4 October 2024 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Forum is organized as part of the implementation of the project “Development of CIS Statistics” with the support of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee. During the session ‘Big and administrative data’ Ala Bilenka, Head of the Statistical System Coordination and Development Department of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, made a presentation on ‘Implementation of new data sources into statistical production architecture’.

The Forum is organized as part of the implementation of the project “Development of the CIS Statistics” with the support of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee. Tsimafei Zhuharau, Deputy Chairperson of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, represents Belarusian side at the meeting.

The Forum is organized as part of the implementation of the project “Development of CIS Statistics” with the support of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee.Within the session ‘New technologies of collection, processing, analysis and dissemination of statistical data’ Yury Chernyavskiy, Head of the Information Technology Department of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, reported on ‘Conceptual directions of integration of information resources in statistics’.

Experience of the Republic of Belarus in developing methodological approaches of the national multidimensional poverty index calculation was presented at the High-Level Meeting of the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network in Tashkent.

High-Level Meeting of the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network is taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 27-29 August 2024. The meeting is hosted by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan via the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) under the Administration of the President, with support from UNDP Uzbekistan.
