The 7th meeting of the Eastern Partnership Expert Working Group on Statistics organized by Eurostat – the Statistical Office of the European Union with the support of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, was held in Minsk on December 4 – 5, 2018. It was attended by representatives of national statistical offices of the Eastern Partnership countries as well as European Union experts.

The High-Level Seminar on "Modernization of Official Statistics" took place on October 23 – 25, 2018 in Kiev, Ukraine. It is organized annually by Eurostat – the Statistical Office of the European Union for the senior management of national statistical institutes of the Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) countries and Mongolia to discuss topical issues of development of national statistical systems.
